The french born Couture designer first landed himself into the forefront of fashion in the 1990's when he designed numerous outfits for Madonna, including the infamous CONE Bra which today is still one of the most iconic pieces of fashion in the 20th century.
He isn't afraid to push the bounderies to what is considerd the 'norm' and uses a womens silhoutte as inspiration for most of his design work...
Below are some of my favourite pieces of work from him..
Madonna in the 100's on her 'Blonde ambition' tour. The infamous cone bra top.
Madonna with the designer, in a barely there bondage top.
beautiful couture dresses
using plus size models in a raunchy way, he isn't afraid to cause controversy.
Bridal wear, not exactly the norm!
full skirts and nipped in waists!
sheer and black to create a raunchy chic!
i love his illustration style.
using Beth Ditto, lead singer of 'Gossip' in his latest catwalk show S/S 2011
Is he the only designer being realistic with women's figures? or is is embracing unhealthy overweight women?
S&M themed clothing with large shoulders and hips, distorting the eye.
This is similar to what im doing with my collection...
LOVE THIS!!!
WOwwweeee
Even his perfume range embraces the womanly shape
He knows how to dress women well.
What's your opinion?
xoxo
